Su-Jin Lee Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who’s Who

With more than 15 years of professional experience, Dr. Su-Jin Lee has been the research director of the Young Chang Chemical Company, Ltd., since 2007. Prior to obtaining his current roles, he was the research director of OPTICHEM from 2005 to 2007. Earlier in his career, Dr. Lee was a researcher with KENSCO from 2001 to 2005.

Dr. Lee began his career as a student at Keimyung University, where he earned a Doctor of Philosophy in 2007. He has maintained affiliation with numerous organizations in relation to his areas of expertise, including the Korean Chemical Society, the Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry, and the Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers. In addition, Dr. Lee has served on the evaluation committee of the Small and Medium Business Administration, and on the advisory counsel of the Ministry of Agriculture.

A respected voice in the field, Dr. Lee has written extensively in his areas of expertise. He is the author of “Synthesis and Physical Properties of M-type Hexagonal Ferrite Nanoparticles Prepared by Sol-Gel Method Using Propylene Oxide” for Keimyung University and “Synthesis and Characterization of Sr1-xLaxFe12-Fe12-yCoyO19 Nanoparticles Prepared by a Sol-Gel Method Using Propylene Oxide” for the Materials Science Forum. In addition, Dr. Lee has co-authored pieces for the Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry, and he is a patentee in the field.

The son of Dae-Seok Lee and Yeong-Ja Son, Dr. Lee has been married to his wife, Ro-Mee Bae, since 2000. He is the proud parent of two children, Do-Hyeun and Joon-Hyeun. Looking towards the future, Dr. Lee looks to build upon his status as a leader among his colleagues and community while contributing his hard-work and research to his areas of expertise.
