Marquis Who’s Who Honors Sujin Bahk with Inclusion in Who’s Who in the World

An established medical professional, Dr. Sujin Bahk began as a public health doctor for the Korean Ministry of Justice and the Cheonan Public Health Center. Upon his discharge from the military, he completed an internship at Dongguk University Hospital and a residency in the department of plastic and reconstructive surgery at Dongguk University’s Ilsan Hospital. Today, Dr. Bahk channels his notable professional experiences into his role as the assistant director of Ahn’s Plastic Surgery.

Before entering the military, Dr. Sujin Bahk pursued medical studies at Dongguk University College of Medicine in 2002, where he returned to earn a Doctor of Medicine in 2010. Subsequently, he was licensed to practice medicine in South Korea. Furthermore, Dr. Bahk retains his professional alignment with the Korean Medical Association, the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Korean Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Korean Society for Surgery of the Hand, the Korean Society for Microsurgery and the Korean Society for Craniofacial Surgery.

With a plethora of knowledge at his disposal, Dr. Bahk has contributed to numerous published articles in the field, including “Reverse-Flow Intrinsic Fasciocutaneous Island Flaps in Foot Reconstruction,” “Idiopathic Synkinesis of the Facial Musculature: Oculo-Nasal, Oculo-Zygomatic, and Fronto-Nasal Synkinesis” and “Wrist Pain due to Abnormal Extensor Carpi Ulnaris Tendon.” Along with other industry scholars, he has been honored to have his work featured in such professional publications as the Journal of the Korean Society for Surgery of the Hand, the Journal of Craniofacial Surgery, the Archives of Reconstructive Microsurgery and the Archives of Plastic Surgery.

For his professional excellence, Dr. Bahk was presented with the Award for Best Recruit from the Korean Army Training Center and an Award or Excellent Public Health Doctor from the Korean Justice Ministry in 2010. He later accepted the Award for Kindest Employee from Dongguk University Ilsan Hospital in 2015. Looking toward the future, Dr. Bahk intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career, which includes opening a private practice and launching campaigns to help those with congenital deformities that require plastic surgery.
