Mr. KwangHoo Lee has also participated in many conferences and expositions in relation to his industry, including the Information Security Expo in Tokyo in 2019.
In 2005, Mr. Lee established his own business, MONITORAPP Co., Ltd., to develop application level security products, including web application firewalls and database firewalls. He now holds the highest market share in the industry in South Korea and Southeast Asia. Moreover, Mr. Lee remains active as the president and the chief executive officer of MONITORAPP Co., Ltd.
Mr. Lee credits much of his success to his mentors at Check Point Software Technologies, who taught him that small software companies could be creators who make an entire industry. He also believes that his patience was instrumental to his proficiency in his skillsets and that never giving up has helped him greatly as well. Looking toward the future, Mr. Lee hopes to continue establishing his company as the standard in the cybersecurity marketplace.
