Prior to her current role, she found success as a lecturer at Ewha Womans University, Sungshin University, and Yong-In Songdam College. She previously served as a special lecturer with Korea University, a lecturer with Myongji College, and as a postdoctoral researcher with Ewha Womans University. Dr. Han began her career as a reviewer with Textile Research Journal (SCI).
Dr. Hye Ree Han initially pursued an education with Ewha Womans University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Home Economics (Major: clothing and textiles) in 2009. She continued her academic efforts at Seoul National University, earning a Master of Science in clothing and textiles in 2011. Dr. Han concluded her studies at Seoul National University in 2016, graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy in textiles, merchandising, and fashion design.
Dr. Han holds further certifications in teaching English to speakers of other languages by Yonsei University and California State University, Long Beach, and in reduction technology education in the textile sector by the Sustainability Management Board. Dr. Han has published several journals in SCI, SCIE class journals such as Textile Research Journal Etc. And she has experience in several fashion exhibitions. A respected voice in her areas of expertise, Dr. Han has been notably presented with three scholarships for excellence in grades from Ewha Womans University and the Award certificate (Leadership section) from the Mayor of Seocho-gu (Seocho City Office).
