With nearly 18 years of professional experience to his credit, Dr. Haewoong Lee has been an adjunct professor in the Department of Dermatology, Asan Medical Center, Ulsan University College of Medicine since 2010. He has also been the director of Louis Dermatologic Clinic since 2010 and planning director of the Association of Korean Dermatologists since 2018. In his career, he has written approximately 35 SCI articles and 20 Korean articles in the dermatologic field.
Dr. Haewoong Lee holds a Bachelor of Medicine (2001), Master of Medicine (2005) and Doctor of Philosophy (2007), all from Ulsan University. He then joined the Korean military and served as an army surgeon and section chief of dermatology in the armed forces at Hampyeong Hospital from 207 to 2010.
A respected voice in his areas of interest, Dr. Lee is a member of the Korean Dermatological Association, the Association of Korean Dermatologists, Happle Mosaic Society, and many other dermatological associations in Korea. He received awards from several dermatological organizations including Best Lecture Award at the 18th Association of Korean Dermatologists’ Annual Autumn Meeting in 2016. Recently, he was nominated as the 1st winner of the Best Lecture Award at Korea Derma 2019.
