Hye-Sun Jung, Ph.D., Celebrates an Impressive Legacy as an Education Professional

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, September 21, 2018, Dr. Hye-Sun Jung, Ph.D., has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Dr. Hye-Sun Jung works as a professor at the Catholic University of Korea in Seoul, Republic of Korea. She has also been an expert committeeman for the Ministry of Employment and Labor in the Republic of Korea, as well a visiting professor at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. Outside from her professional roles, she has been the president of both the Korean Association of Occupational Health Nurses and the Korean Society of Construction Health. Prior to this, she was the president of the Korean Society of Occupational Health Nursing and Korean Society of School Health.

To prepare for her illustrious career, Dr. Hye-Sun Jung pursued formal education at Seoul National University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Public Health, and a Doctor of Philosophy. In addition, she has authored ten articles in professional journals, including “Contributors to shift work tolerance in South Korean nurses working rotating shift” in Applied Nursing Research in 2015, “Occupational stress of women workers in service industries depending on their working conditions” in the Korean Journal of Occupational Health Nursing in 2014, and “Development of an education program for volunteers in Health Care Center in perceived effect analysis” in the Journal of the Korean Data Analysis Society in 2013, among others.

In recognition of her exceptional accomplishments, Dr. Hye-Sun Jung was awarded the Grand Prize by Industrial Safety and Health in 2015, as well as the Minister Award by the Ministry of Education in the Republic of Korea. The proud mother of two sons, she enjoys having conversation in her spare time.
