With more than five years of professional experience to his credit, Dr. Ji Hoon Jung has excelled as a research professor with the Kyung Hee University College of Korean Medicine since 2018. Prior to his current role, he worked in postdoctoral research at the Tulane University School of Medicine from 2015 to 2018 and at the Kyung Hee University College of Korean Medicine from 2014 to 2015. Earlier in his career, Dr. Jung was active as a visiting scholar with the Tulane University School of Medicine in 2013.
Dr. Ji Hoon Jung initially pursued an education with Myongji University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in biosciences in 2009. He continued his studies at the Kyung Hee University College of Oriental Medicine, graduating with a Master of Science in cancer biology in 2011. Dr. Jung concluded his academic efforts with Kyung Hee University, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in 2014.
Throughout his career, Dr. Jung has been notably celebrated for his exemplary contributions to his field. He has been presented with several honors scholarships from Myongji University. The recipient of the Best Young Scientist Award from the Medical Research Center of Korea, Dr. Jung accepted a Young Investigator Award and an Outstanding Degree Thesis Award by Kyung Hee University.
