With more than 30 years of professional experience, Dr. Pyung Yong Park has excelled as the chief executive officer of Paradise Company, Ltd., since 2015. Likewise, he has held the same post for the Paradise Segasammy Company, Ltd., and four casinos for the Paradise Group since 2017. In addition to his primary responsibilities, Dr. Park has served as the chair of the Korea Casino Association since 2016.
Prior to his current positions, Dr. Pyung Yong Park worked as the general manager of Paradise Casino Walkerhill from 2009 to 2015. Previously, he found success as the group chief financial officer for Paradise Company, Ltd., from 1996 to 2008. Dr. Park began his career with the Banker’s Trust Company from 1987 to 1996.
Dr. Park initially pursued an education with Seoul National University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 1984. He then traveled to the United States to study at the University of Chicago, graduating with a Master of Business Administration in financial management in 1987. Dr. Park later concluded his academic efforts at Yonsei University, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in business administration in 2016.
